Bio

Helping enterprises transform their endpoint strategy and empower employees to do their best work - that is what I am truly passionate about, and it energizes and drives me every day.

As a Cloud Endpoint Solution Engineer at Microsoft, I guide enterprise customers through endpoint modernization, Zero Trust security adoption, and cloud-first strategies. With 25+ years of hands-on experience across governmental, financial, healthcare, and enterprise organizations, I bring deep expertise in Windows 365, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, and unified endpoint management.

Awarded the Microsoft MVP for Windows and Devices for IT for 9 consecutive years (2016-2024) before joining Microsoft. Throughout my career as Solution Architect and Principal Architect, I have designed and implemented Windows and Workplace solutions for organizations of all sizes, delivering strategy and technical guidance to stakeholders up to C-level.

What sets me apart is my commitment to continuous learning - it is not optional, it is essential. For IT professionals navigating today’s rapidly changing environment, staying curious and adaptable is the difference between leading change and chasing it. That mindset drives everything I do. I embrace AI-assisted development, blog at dotjesper.com, and contribute open-source tools on GitHub that help others manage Windows endpoints.

Beyond technology, I am passionate about mentoring and empowering others to achieve more. My philosophy is simple - learn it to teach it - and I take pride in being the ‘go-to person’ for customers, colleagues, and the tech community. I founded the Windows Management User Group Denmark (WMUG.dk) and am part of the Workplace Ninjas User Group Denmark, staying actively involved in communities where knowledge flows freely. Despite being an introvert, my energetic presentation style and sense of humor have made me a recognized speaker at user groups and industry events.

Outside work, I am a marathon finisher, a gymnastics instructor for 30+ years, and a dad who loves exploring technology with his kids.

I do what I do because I love it - the people I meet, the challenges I tackle, and the opportunity to connect the dots while embracing my inner nerd.

I would love to connect - feel free to reach out if you want to collaborate or exchange ideas on endpoint management, cloud security, and the future of work.

Bio

Cloud Endpoint Solution Engineer at Microsoft, helping enterprise customers modernize their endpoints, adopt Zero Trust, and accelerate their adoption of Windows 365, Microsoft Intune, and cloud-first strategies.

I believe great user experience comes before security - not instead of it, but because security that ignores the user will always be bypassed. Call it being a Technology Provocateur - I would rather challenge assumptions than repeat documentation.

I was awarded the Microsoft MVP for Windows and Devices for IT for 9 consecutive years (2016-2024) before joining Microsoft. I founded the Windows Management User Group Denmark (WMUG.dk), blog at dotjesper.com, and contribute open-source PowerShell tools on GitHub - all grounded in real-world deployments and lessons learned from production environments.

With 25+ years of hands-on experience across governmental, financial, healthcare, and enterprise organizations, I specialize in translating complex technical challenges into actionable guidance - both on stage and in the field.

I blend education with hands-on experience - connecting the dots between strategy, security, and user experience. I care as much about stagecraft and storytelling as I do about the technology itself - despite being an introvert, I have found that a well-told story beats a bullet list every time.
